The neighbourhood of Kamaria

The large terrace and balcony offer a splendid view on olive
orchards, shelving hills and the sky-blue sea. There are some
offshore islands and a peninsula with a precipice. The province
Messinia shows a surprising green landscape and rich fauna due
to a relatively mild climate.

Kamaria is a small village situated between picturesque fishing-
village Finikounda and Methoni with its large Venetian fortress.
Both villages have lots of restaurants with waterside terraces.
The sandy beaches belong to the best of the Peloponnesus.

The town of Pylos is at 20 km distance having terraces under
centuries-old plane-trees at the square along the harbor in the
Navarino Bay where in 1827 a fight for independency took place.
